TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Definitions

  • The ‘Hire Company’ is Pretty Party Packages (PPP)
  • The ‘Client’ refers to any individual, firm, or corporation hiring equipment or appoints services from the ‘Hire Company’.
  • The ‘Equipment’ refers to all tabletop items and party items supplied to the ‘Client’.
  • The ‘Event Date’ is the day of the event supplied by the ‘Client’ to the ‘Hire Company’.
  • The ‘Hire Period’ is the total time the ‘Client’ will have in their possession the ‘Equipment’ for hire, as agreed with the ‘Hire Company’


When paying for an order the client agrees to the following Conditions of Hire. 

All rental equipment remains in the property of Pretty Party Packages.


DAMAGED AND/OR MISSING ITEMS


We totally get it, accidents happen! But in order to maintain a quality product, we require a $100 security deposit to be paid at the time of hire. The deposit is then refunded to you in full once all the hire equipment is returned, everything is accounted for and we have assessed these for any damage or loss. PPP will advise the client within 7 days as to the status of the hire items returned. 

The security deposit will be returned within 10 days of return of hire equipment. 

Any items considered un-rentable by Pretty Party Packages standards, will be charged at full replacement value. 


CARE OF TABLETOP AND PARTY HIRE ITEMS


TABLECLOTHS & NAPKINS: After the event, please do not wash the napkins or tablecloths. We ask that all linens be dry to prevent mildew, free of any wax, food, or confetti, and placed back in any container/bag they came in. Napkins with stains that are still on napkins after professional cleaning and are deemed unsuitable for hire will be removed from our range and the customer will be charged for the cost of replacement.


TABLETOP RENTALS: We kindly ask that you scrape and rinse plates and cutlery free of any food, and empty and rinse glassware. All items should be placed back into the containers they arrived in. Avoid leaving excess water in the bottom of any containers as any metal pieces may rust.


A FRAMES: These beautiful pieces must be protected during and after the event - Please note if your event is outdoors, our rental items cannot be left outside and must be placed under cover or moved indoors until our scheduled pick up. Please keep in mind that wax will permanently damage our tables/furniture pieces. Heavily stained furniture is subjected to additional cleaning fees.


PLEASE NOTE: CANDLES ARE NOT TO BE USED ON ANY PRETTY PARTY PACKAGES RENTAL ITEM, BE IT MATERIAL OR HARD SURFACE WITHOUT BEING PLACED ON A CANDLE HOLDER OF SOME SORT OR CANDLE DISH TO PREVENT CANDLE WAX RUINING THE SURFACE. 


Failure to follow these instructions will result in an additional cleaning fee which will be advised to the customer post return.


Payment

For all orders that have had availability confirmed via an Order Confirmation form from PPP, must be paid in full on the website at the time of placing the order to secure all your items.

If this payment is not received within 48hrs of the Order Confirmation, PPP reserves the right to offer the hire items to other clients. 


Payment is via Credit Card. Direct Debit is available on request. 


CANCELLATIONS 

Orders must be cancelled in writing via email to: kris@prettypartypackages.com.au

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total invoice. 

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will result in the client being charged the full hire rate. 

Bookings can be transferred to another date dependent on availability. 


DELIVERY AND PICK UP

There is a minimum spend of $180 to be eligible for delivery. 

Delivery fees are variable and depends on the size of the client’s order. 

When an order request is completed, delivery fees will be included in the quote.

Delivery or Pick up of “Complete Packages” that include flowers will be done on Fridays. All other deliveries and Pick ups will be completed on Thursdays.

Delivery and Pick up times will be agreed upon by both parties. 

If picking up, It is the clients responsibility to ensure they have appropriate transport to carry the hire items. No open utes/trailers. 

PPP reserves the right to refuse pick up of the items if we deem the transport inappropriate to carry our goods safely without damage.

Delivery fees for PPP to deliver items will therefore be incurred by the client. 


PPP accepts no responsibility for injury caused to any person or damage caused to any property of the Client resulting from the hire or set up of the rental items. 

PPP reserves the right to change these Conditions of Hire at any time. 


These rates include delivery to and then pick up from the event address.

Northern Beaches & Upper and Lower North Shore suburbs: 

Base Plus Package orders delivery $50

Complete Package orders delivery $75

For Suburbs outside of Northern Beaches and North Shore suburbs but within the Sydney Metro area:

For delivery of Base Plus Package orders $75

For delivery of Complete Package order $100

Please note, this fee is variable and depends on the size of your order. When you complete your Reservation Request, enter your delivery destination and a quote on delivery will be included. 


FLOWERS

We always endeavor to match the flowers to the package pictures shown on the website. There are times though, when we go to market and the quality of the flowers are not up to our high standards or it may be outside of the flowers peak season. In these situations, we reserve the right to change the flowers to the suit the package at no extra cost to the client. We will advise the client of the changes on the Friday after our market visit.
